Schedule of Human Resource Services, Products & Consulting

Tax Favored Benefits, Inc.

The following Human Resource services and products will be available to members of the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association and Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Distributors:

HR HELP LINE: The Help Line will provide personal assistance with specific questions usually concerning an immediate issue or situation. It is anticipated that this will be the most used resource for I-NEDA and I-NED members. If the HR Specialist is not immediately available, the member's call will be returned within 24 hours or on the next business day. Following are typical of the types of questions that might be handled over the HR Help Line:

How should I word a disciplinary write-up for attendance?

Do I have to offer COBRA?

What do I do about health insurance for an employee on unpaid leave?

Where can I get I-9 forms?

How do I protest an unemployment claim?

What is HIPAA?

EMPLOYEE HANDBOOKS: Each handbook will be customized to the member's needs. Topics to be included will be selected by the member from a list we provide. The average handbook will be between 45-50 pages. The member will receive one (1) spiral bound copy and one (1) master copy that can be duplicated for distribution. We will also provide a copy in Microsoft Word on diskette.

EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK REVIEW: For members who already have a handbook, we will review the existing handbook and make recommendations. For minor updates and changes, suggested language will be provided in order for the member to make changes. If an extensive update is needed, a new handbook will be recommended. If the member retains us to prepare a new handbook, the fee will be waived.

ADMINISTRATION KITS: Certain HR programs require specialized knowledge, forms and record keeping to administer. Administration kits will include an overview of the subject, a summary of basic requirements and tools for administration such as checklists, forms, posters, etc. Kits will be provided in a ring binder and, where applicable, a forms diskette will be included along with master copies of required forms. Follow-up service from date of delivery will include updates on changes in regulations and updated forms, if needed, for a period of one year. Examples of Administration Kits are:

                       COBRA and HIPAA Administration Kit

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
                       Performance Appraisal System

Job Descriptions with Appraisal System

CONSULTING AND SPECIAL PROJECTS:  Members who have special needs, who want highly customized materials or who need an in depth study of a particular topic or situation can retain us for an hourly rate. Special projects could be things such as performing a compliance review to evaluate current HR systems. In this area, the scope of the project and the approximate time involved will be discussed with the client and agreed upon before the work begins.
