The Iowa-Nebraska Equipment
Dealers Association (I-NEDA) provides services and support for retail dealers to
help them prosper in the framework of the
agricultural equipment industry
Membership allows you to tap into the most pertinent resources available. These are just some of the services provided by I-NEDA that agricultural equipment dealers value:
Legislation
A lobbyist is retained
in each state to assure that the dealers' interests are expressed. Each
state’s legislative committee monitors and
introduces legislation. A national lobbyist is also
retained through the national association.
Past activities:
Sales tax exemption on agricultural equipment and parts.
Allowing the movement of overwidth equipment on county and state highways without permits
Dealership protection laws (buyback laws).
Inventory tax exemption.
Manufacturer Relations
Continuous effort is made to
open communication channels with manufacturers. Meetings with
top management of manufacturers and their field
representatives are held periodically.
Communicating dealers' issues is an important
role of the association.
Education
I-NEDA provides the equipment dealer with
the latest in educational opportunities. Knowing
that only top managed dealerships will be
successful, the association assembles time sensitive,
valuable information in their educational
programs. Programs are presented for all employees of
the dealership.
Trade-in Guides
Ag Guides2000 offers the most reliable
market data available, with equipment valuations based
on actual sales by association
dealer-members. This is a valuable tool to improve profitability of
the sales department.
